Despite the fact that D.R.A.M. has released a couple of equallyinfectious singles since "Broccoli," there's just something about the Lil Yachty-assisted song that sets itself apart. And now, the success that the song's indescribable "something" has garnered over the past few months has been rewarded—with a double platinum certification from the RIAA, no less. "2 million stalks of BROCCOLI sold, and counting!" D.R.A.M. revealed in a Facebook post earlier today.

To give a better perspective of just how impressive this feat is, Kid Cudi's massive "Pursuit of Happiness (Nightmare)" took almost six years to reach double platinum status (it was released on September 15, 2009 and received its double platinum certification on June 15, 2015). While RIAA's change in policy regarding factoring streaming into certifications certainly help singles reach these milestones faster, two million certified units is still no easy task.

Following "Broccoli," D.R.A.M. released a live EP titled Live at the Milk Jam Room and shared a set of incredibly fun visuals to accompany "Broccoli." He's also been keeping busy with collaborations alongside the likes of salute, Jimi Tents Jump, and many others.

Congratulations, D.R.A.M.! Perhaps tonight you should celebrate with salmon on a bagel with capers on a square plate.
