Donald Glover stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden last night to promote his latest endeavor, FX show Atlanta. While there, James Corden mentioned how Glover is known to be a big fan of karaoke, asking him what his favorite karaoke go-to is. Sheepishly, he answered with a common but excellent choice: Seal's "Kiss from a Rose." The resulting singalong is perhaps the nicest sounding cover of "Kiss from a Rose" to not use many words from the song, with both Glover and Corden admitting they know very little of the song's lyrics.

Corden also took the chance to get Glover and bandleader Reggie Watts to collaborate, with them improvising a song on the fly. Flexing his impressive singing vocals rather than his rapping chops, Glover gave us yet another reminder of why we need another Childish Gambino album as soon as possible. Following his Pharos event, here's hoping we get to hear more music from Glover sooner rather than later.

However, during his interview on the show, he said that he has no release date in mind for new music. He mentioned how the stuff he performed at the event could sound very different by the time it releases, and that's he's writing new stuff everyday. The release of the music remains a mystery, but at least we're still getting a healthy amount of Glover in lives with Atlanta, which garnered the highest-rated debut for a basic cable comedy series since 2013.

Watch Glover improvise a song above, and watch him sort of sing Seal below.
