DJ Shadow released his fifth studio album earlier this year, The Mountain Will Fall, but it's looking like he's about to revisit his past soon. During a conversation with Clams Casino on The Talkhouse Music Podcast, DJ Shadow revealed that he's working on a remix album of his influential debut album, Endtroducing..., and that it'll feature some big names. Ahead of the album's fast-approaching 20th anniversary, Shadow has teased who has contributed to the project.

“This year is the 20th anniversary of Entroducing…," he explained. "So curating this remix album, I wanted to provide another layer of perspective on the record and invite my current favorites and a few favorites from other eras to do remixes." He revealed that Clams Casino and Hudson Mohawke have contributed remixes to the project, but besides that he remained quiet on what else to expect from it as far as specific remixers go.

Speaking about Clams' remix from the album, he explained, “I listened to it and I loved it, but in the back of my mind I got really worried because I was thinking, ‘shit did he send a demo of, like, somebody else’s track? I hope this is mine! Cause I couldn’t recognize any of the elements in mine, even though there were so many things about it that seemed familiar.”
