Dej Loaf has been ramping up her output recently: Early this month, she shared "Snakes," and today she's back with another new track, "Beef N Broccoli."
The chill, acoustic guitar-led instrumental—produced by Bassman Foster, Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, Swagg R'celious and Carrington—has Dej rapping about dealing with sadness and people not wanting her to succeed: "Sometimes I wanna get away cause life get stressful / I done had it up to here, I felt the pressure / Got me turning up the bottle to deal with depression / They wanna see you down when you progressing."
There's no firm release date for her debut album yet; At the start of the month, it was "coming soon," and now, this upload was captioned, "New Music From DeJ Loaf! As We Get Closer to Her Debut Album."
