David Bowie passed away earlier this year at the age of 69, just two days after the release of his twenty-fifth and possibly final studio albumBlackstar. It has now been revealed that there was more material left over from the recording sessions of Blackstar, and that those final studio recordings will see the light of day next month on October 21. The three never before heard tracks will arrive on the second disc of the Lazarus Cast Album, which is a collection of recordings from the cast of the David Bowie musical Lazarus.

The album, which features reinterpretations of countless classic from David Bowie by the cast of Lazarus, will feature "No Plan," "Killing a Little Time," and "When I Met You." These tracks have previously been performed by the cast of Lazarus, which opened last year in New York, but David Bowie's recordings of the tracks never saw release until now. The tracks were the last songs that Bowie recorded before his passing in January.

The Lazarus Cast Album will be released October 21, and features vocals from Michael C. Hall, Cristin Miloti, and more. The album was recorded on January 11 earlier this year, the day after Bowie passed. It was originally reported earlier this year that unreleased music from the prolific Bowie was on the way.
