Following a pair of bangers in "South Central" and "Round Here," Los Angeles-based rapper Darnell Williams gets political on his new song, "Pale Fire." With the help of Denzel Curry and Elohim, Williams fleshes out the socio-political edge that bubbled under the surface of his last two tracks and impressively weaves his message into the song without ever coming across as heavy handed or preachy.

The same urgent delivery and ground-shaking bass that made us fans of "South Central" is back on "Pale Fire," accompanied by thought-provoking lyrics which he explained to Complex are "a look at life in America today & how attitudes amongst minorities reflect the past." Given his background in film (and impressive track record as a videographer) we can't wait to see the video he cooks up for this. In the meantime, catch a stream below.
