In need of an energy boost? Look no further. Earlier today, Nok from the Future and Dylan Brady liberated “Good Friends.” The appropriately titled track is an ode to spiritual brotherhood, blending contemporary aesthetics with flashback emotion. A flurry of digitalized vocals and subtle synth work are internet byproducts, while the guitar work and a sweeping hook recall yesteryear’s radio rock.

Nok issued the following statement to Noisey for his latest record: “I wanted to thank the friends that stick around. It is always good friends that soften the blow of things in life that you have control over. I made this track with one of my favorite friends in music and now I want to make a million songs with him. Friends forever.”

The collaboration yielded a feel-good anthem bound to soundtrack Friday night shenanigans. BOMBS 1—the first half of Nok’s forthcoming album—debuts August 9. Keep “Good Friends” on repeat between now and then.
