Travis Scott's highly anticipated album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight still hasn't arrived, with a number of proposed and rumored release dates falling through. It's not entirely clear why the album still isn't out, or when we can expect it, but Travis didn't recently mention "technical issues," and has since also canceled a number of live dates. The album is supposed to drop tomorrow if his recent update on it is to be believed, but it turns out that might not be the case after all.
Mike Dean is mixing the album and serving as an executive producer, and his most recent tweets suggest it won't be making its way to iTunes and streaming services by tomorrow. Tweeting, "I'm still mixing this album not letting travis drop until I'm done," it seems as if the album might not be making its August 26 release. "Trust me kids he's wild," he said in a second tweet. "He's a lunatic for y'all. It's almost here."
The album could of course come out tonight since Mike Dean didn't actually reveal what he meant by the album being "almost here," as that could mean within the next month or in the next hour. Hopefully the album will be worth the wait, regardless.
