Many elements have defined the past few days for Frank Ocean, one of the more hilarious being Kanye West's rap about McDonald's that he wrote for the Boys Don't Cry magazine. That piece of writing expanded its empire today: Joey Bada$$ was a guest on Hot 97 this morning, and he performed a slam poetry reading of the text, which was something like a McDonald's-sponsored table read of the Sausage Party script.

At the moment, Bada$$ is busy refuting accusations that he has sold out, in light of his pop-leaning single "Devastated," about which he said, "When I made that song ‘Devastated’ I just had one mission in mind; I wasn’t even trying to make a hit song. I wanted to make an uplifting song."
