Guwop home. With those two little words, the music world was turned on its head—Gucci Mane was free, and rap’s most prolific artist wasted no time in resuming his breakneck release pace.
Since rejoining society on May 26, Gucci has collaborated with every major artist. That’s hardly an exaggeration—Kanye, Drake, DJ Khaled, Future—the list stops just short of Taylor Swift, and stranger things have happened.
Where this all ends for Gucci remains to be seen. But whether he ends up in Hollywood or the House of Representatives, we’ll always have the lyrics.
