Cashmere Cat's new album

Norwegian producer Cashmere Cat has really been making strides, working with the likes of Miguel, R. Kelly, Kanye West, Tory Lanez, Francis and the Lights, and even Britney Spears. He's definitely come a long way from his early material, but it's been a long time since he's given us a substantial amount of solo material. The last solo release from Cashmere Cat arrived all the way back in 2014 with his Wedding Bells EP,.

In 2015 he gave us "Ice Rink" with DJ Mustard, and "Adore" with Ariana Grande, teasing something big for 2016. Now that something big is finally on the horizon, with Cashmere Cat announcing that he'll be releasing his debut album, Wild Love, later the year. The first single from the album, which is also titled "Wild Love," features The Weeknd and Francis and the Lights, will be officially released tomorrow (August 26).

Posting a picture of him in the studio with The Weeknd, it's clear these two have been working hard. The song has leaked ahead of its release tomorrow, and can be listened to here via Complex. The artwork for the forthcoming album, Wild Love, can be seen above.
