Back in May it was revealed that Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Cypress Hill’s B-Real were planning to create a supergroup named Prophets of Rage. Just a few months later, the newly formed group is already hitting the stage together.
Last night, Prophets of Rage made their official television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The new group performed in front of a large crowd on Kimmel’s outdoor festival stage. For their live performance on the show, they performed “Prophets of Rage”—a new take on the Public Enemy track that gave the group their name.
Prophets of Rage delivered a bonus performance for the crowd (as well as online viewers) of another track titled “Killing in the Name.” The performance was completed with a banner in the backdrop that reads, “Make America Rage Again.”
