Last night during a performance at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, The National brought out Annie Clark—aka St. Vincent—as their special guest. While on stage together, they performed their new collaboration for the crowd.
Their song, which is titled “Prom Song 13th Century (Frankie & Johnny),” is so new that Clark can be seen peeking at a sheet of lyrics on the ground as she sings. Fitting of its title, their collaboration is a downtempo record that would be perfect for any couple to slow dance to at their own prom. The performance is completed with frontman Matt Berninger and Clark coming together for a short dance as the band plays on.
