Between releasing his debut album and dropping a couple of loosies, Rome Fortune has had a strong 2016 thus far. Today, the rapper is back with a new surprise mixtape titled VVORLDVVIDE PIMPSATION.
The 11-track mixtape is a solid (and at times menacing, as per Rome Fortune’s signature aesthetic) offering with the sole purpose of soundtracking your summer. Featuring the likes of iLoveMakonnen, Wara From The NBHD, and Toro y Moi, VVORLDVVIDE PIMPSATION is just a taste of what’s to come.
Says Rome of the project: “I released it because I just wanted to give my fans some music for the summer. For the kickbacks, parties, car rides full of the homies maximum volume feel good music. I got real personal and introspective on my album.
“Its purpose was to give insight & understanding to why I am how I am for my fans. But it’s hot as hell and with all the crazy shit going on right now, giving my fans anything but fun music would be selfish. Beautiful Pimp 3 will be everything it’s supposed to be but this should hold everybody over for now.”
