Radiohead commissioned artists to create brief visual vignettes for songs from their newest album A Moon Shaped Pool, and now they want their fans to get in on the action.
On Instagram, the band announced a contest that asks fans to submit a one-minute clip to accompany a minute-long string version of the album’s second single, “Daydreaming.” The previous vignettes all had different approaches: some were abstract and ambient in nature, while others were more like live-action short films, so it’s hard to say exactly what the band is looking for in a winner aside from creativity.
The deadline for the contest in July 30, and the winning vignette will be posted on the band’s website.
