Frances Bean Cobain’s divorce from Isaiah Silva is going anything but smoothly so far, and things recently got a lot more ugly. Isaiah Silva, who is the frontman of the band The Eeries, is claiming that Frances gave him Kurt Cobain’s famous MTV Unplugged guitar as a wedding present. The Martin D-18E guitar that Kurt played during Nirvana’s historic acoustic set is worth over several million dollars, and needless to say, Frances and Courtney Love are less than pleased.

Speaking with TMZ, Love said, “It’s a treasured heirloom of the family.” Love continued, “It’s not [Silva’s] to take…. We’re very close, and [Frances] never planned on doing that.” She went on to refer to Frances’ marriage with Isaiah as a “dangerous and toxic relationship.” Frances received the guitar as a gift from her mother, but neither Love or Frances have clarified whether she did give Isaiah the guitar as a wedding present or not.

Not too long ago, Isaiah Silva claimed he was kidnapped by Birtney Spears’ former manager Sam Lutfi, with Lutfi allegedly stealing Isaiah’s phone and causing almost $4,000 worth of damage. It’s unclear exactly what’s going on Isaiah right now, but it’s certainly not pretty.
