At the end of last year, G.O.O.D. Music signee Kacy Hill shared her five-track Bloo EP. Since then, she’s been fairly quiet—aside from making a brilliant appearance at our Hype Hotel show at SXSW this passed spring. In her rather silent absence, it appears Hill has been working on new music.
Today, Kacy Hill shares her brand new single titled “Lion.” The new track begins a bit timidly with softer vocals to match the subtle rhythm. But it soon opens up and reaches its peak as Hill sings the words, “You woke the lion.” The new single comes paired with glimmering, animated visuals by Adam Ross. If this new single is a preview of what’s to come, it’s safe to say Kacy Hill has good things in store.
