After three years in prison, Gucci Mane is free and he seems like a happier, healthier version of his past self. He appears slimmer and in the best shape of his life, and he’s been working out and eating healthy while on house arrest. According to his new song “No Sleep,” he’s also giving up, or at least cutting back, on all the drugs that were such a major part of his life in the past.

Gucci’s album Everybody Looking is out on July 22, and on the album-opener “No Sleep,” he talks about his dedication to music and his recovery.

Ex-drug dealer, used to sell a brick to day

I can’t even sleep I got so much to say

Recovering drug addict, I used to drink a pint a day

I can’t even sleep I got so much to say

Recovering drug addict, I used to smoke a pound a day

In the only verse on the song, he gets even more specific, talking about his early drug use and flirting with death.

They knockin’ on the door, know I’m just in the seventh grade

I’m mixin’ codeine pills and molly in a lemonade

I feel like briscuit so damn high, might just die any day

For all you junkies that’s addicted, please don’t get offended

I’m a recovering drug addict and that’s not my intention
