It didn’t seem likely that Burberry Perry would win Burberry’s case against him, which went after Perry for his usage of their brand’s name, logo, and iconic plaid print, so the producer/rapper has officially changed his name. To celebrate the occasion, TheGoodPerry took to Twitter to share a new song titled “Blueberry.”

Despite this name change, though, TheGoodPerry encourages fans to still refer to him as Burberry Perry if they so please, telling them that “no one can stop [them]” from calling Perry that.
Earlier today, Lil Yachty offered some alternative names that Perry could use instead (it was he who originally dubbed TheGoodPerry that troublesome name), but TheGoodPerry seems to be a much better fit than both Blackberry Parrot or Blueberry Peru.
