It’s been a long, long time coming, but The Avalanches’ second studio album is FINALLY here. After 16 years of waiting, the Australian outfit have shared a stream for their long overdue record, Wildflower. Featuring Danny Brown, Toro Y Moi, Father John Misty, and many more, the album has been teased for years and years. But now, thanks to an exclusive stream on Apple Music ahead of its release next week, Wildflower is no longer a drawn out mystery.
It’s weird to think about, but Wildflower is now actually an album that people can listen to, following the countless promises that it was on the way. It’s not available to purchase until July 8, but the album is now streaming on Apple Music, with streams and download options to come with the arrival of its release next week. Unfortunately it’s not available to stream outside of North America just yet, but that could change in the near future.
