Since his 2014 debut album Alone For The First Time, Ryan Hemsworth has had only one official solo release, the 2015 single “Afterglow.” Surprising right? It seems as if Ryan’s been everywhere, and he has, but more as a curator and collaborator, consistently sharing awesome finds from the depths of the internet on his Secret Songs label and working with like-minded artists. (Oh, and he interviewed Tinashe for us, lest you forget!)
Ryan breaks his solo single silence today with “How It Felt,” an intricate production that is almost dizzying in the number of new sounds it introduces with each twist and turn. Of course, Ryan fits it all together perfectly, because that’s what Ryan does best.
