For the past few months, Run The Jewels have been teasing fans with more updates on the progress of their upcoming album Run The Jewels 3. While they continue to work on new material, the duo has still managed to keep their schedules full with plenty of other things like making music for Adult Swim’s 2016 singles series, performing at Coachella, and making late night TV appearances.
Last night, Run The Jewels stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to join DJ Shadow for a performance of “Nobody Speak.” DJ Shadow previously mentioned that when he originally created the beat, he made with only RTJ in mind. Watching the chemistry of Killer Mike and El-P, as well as their individual charisma, makes it clear why they were perfect for this collaboration. The live performance was completed with the addition of a small horn section helping to bring “Nobody Speak” to life.
