Readying the release of their Kickstarter-funded album And The Anonymous Nobody, De La Soul give us a taste of their first full-length project in twelve years by sharing a song called “Pain” featuring fellow legendary rapper Snoop Dogg.
Built on the back of an impossibly groovy beat, De La and Snoop recall the laid-back vibes of their 90s-era heyday with smooth raps on the mellow single. The full album (set for release on August 26) will also feature Damon Albarn, David Byrne, Usher, Estelle, 2 Chainz, Jill Scott, Estelle, Little Dragon, and more.
