Last month, we suggested that fans of James Blake would love London-based singer Chris Kaz. He originally impressed up with his simplistic but eerily engaging single “Track 01.” Now he returns with yet another new track, this time titled “Save Us”—taken from his upcoming Sleeping Fires EP.
Just minutes ago, Kaz’s latest single premiered on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio during Julie Adenuga’s show. Now we bring you the full track to listen on repeat for as long as you wish.
The 83rd provides the production for this slow-building track that soons bubbles up into a head-spinning rhythm. Like the title, and even the artwork, would allude there’s something a bit menacing about “Save Us.” Both the production and Kaz’s vocals combined make for a combination that leaves you wanting to hear more from both Kaz and The 83rd on their forthcoming Sleeping Fires EP.
