At the beginning of the month, Drake premiered a new track titled “4pm in Calabasas” on an episode of his Beats 1 Radio show, OVO Sound. The track features Drake rhyming over a beat reminiscent of a ’90s Bad Boy track—completed with plenty of Puffy and Mase references.
Today, London rapper Bonkaz shares his personal take on the track. Instead of Calabasas, Bonkaz brings it back to what he knows with the release of “4pm in London,” bringing a new perspective to the smooth track. Since we’ve come to know Bonkaz, he’s proved time and time again that he can fit over just about any kind of rhythm—he offers up yet another example on “4pm in London.”
