BADBADNOTGOOD are gearing up to release their fourth studio album on July 8 via Innovative Leisure. We’ve already heard their Kaytranada collaboration “Lavender,” and now they’re teasing the forthcoming record even further with the Charlotte Day Wilson collaboration, “In Your Eyes.” Coming together with the Toronto-based singer, the collaboration is perhaps the prettiest track to come from BADBADNOTGOOD yet, and that’s saying something.
Speaking with i-D about the collaboration, Alex Sowinski of the band explained, “We were booked to share the stage in Los Angeles for a Red Bull event and decided we should get in the lab and hang.” He continued, “I went to highschool with Charlotte and at the time wasn’t aware of her incredible singing and songwriting talent. She was playing sax sitting in the chair next to the drums and said to me ‘damn you got swag son.’ Ever since we’ve been making heat in the lab and are planning to get back and keep crafting hit rekkids!”
