Earlier this morning, Yung Lean took to his Twitter account to update fans that he had been arrested last night. The first in the short series of tweets read, “Woke up in a jail cell w all my jewelry in a plastic bag smh.”
As of right now, there’s no further information about Yung Lean’s arrest. In his series of tweets, he did not share how or why the incident occurred. The young rapper has been on a short break from his current tour in these past few weeks, so we can presume that the arrest took place in his home of Sweden.
After verbalizing his frustration with the situation and how his day started on the wrong foot, he ended with a bit of positivity—explaining that he was back in the presence of his Grandmother.
