Last we time heard from Seattle rapper Dave B, he was linking with Sango on “Got It From.” Now he’s back with a video for “Worth It” and news of a New York show this Friday. “Worth It” is a track from Dave’s Punch Drunk project, and another example of his ability to deliver effortlessly melodic bars while flexing his storytelling ability.
For the video, directed by Warsame Warsame, Dave hits an L.A. loft and show the before and after of a house party. “This was one of my favorite videos to shoot,” Dave tells us. “I got to work with Sam Roberts and Warsame while out in LA and we had a bunch of fun. From time to time, the hangover is indeed worth it.”
