Chance The Rapper has proven to be a charitable individual in the past. Last Christmas, Chance helped raise $60,000 in 10 days for Warmest Winter, his initiative to raise money to purchase coats for Chicago’s homeless community.

Now, Chance is about to give back to the community again, headlining a citywide Night for NYC event. Performing on Monday, May 9 at Terminal 5, 100% of the proceeds will go towards fighting poverty in New York City. Robin Hood, the charity behind Night for NYC, “finds, funds and creates over 200 of the most effective programs, to help 1.8 million New Yorkers learn and earn their way out of poverty.”

Tickets for the show are $150 for General Admission and $250 for Deluxe Admission. Proceeds from each ticket will help feed a family of four for one week.

Prior to his charity concert, Chance The Rapper will perform on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this Thursday, May 5. Chance is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming mixtape, Chance 3.
