Listen to Woodkid's Simon & Garfunkel Cover and Movie Score Track "Land Of All"

Although there might not be another Woodkid album on the immediate horizon, Yoann Lemoine is always staying busy with one project or another. After collaborations with Lykke Li and Panteros666 last year, he is back with a new song called “Land Of All,” which is part of his score for Desierto. According to IMDb, the Jonás Cuarón-directed film follows, “A group of people trying to cross the border from Mexico into the United States encounter a man who has taken border patrol duties into his own racist hands,”

That’s not all from Woodkid, however, whose piano cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s classic was debuted on French radio this morning. He shared it with the following message, “It’s one of my favourite songs one one of my dad’s vinyls I used to damage when I was a child… A Madeleine de Proust in a way.” Check out his all-too-brief, appropriately gorgeous cover below.
