Continuing the recent trend of surprise releases from Top Dawg Entertainment, CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith tweeted this afternoon that he would “drop something when my plane touchdown in LA 2nite…”
That “something” ended up being a gritty song and video that marked the return of ScHoolboy Q—his first official single since the release of Oxymoron in 2014.
No word yet when the album surrounding this mob-inspired street single will be released, but it does seem as though Tiffith’s focus has shifted to Q in the latest stage of his ambitious release strategy for 2016. We can’t wait.
