Mac DeMarco recently promised that new music was on the way, and now he’s delivering on that promise after sharing a demo last week. Recorded as a collaboration with his touring keyboard player Jon Lent, DeMarco has released a cover of James Taylor’s “I Was a Fool to Care.” The video is bizarre, featuring a masked individual (possibly Lent, highly likely DeMarco) in a dog gimp mask performing the cover and lovingly holding a picture of James Taylor.
