Daniel Wilson’s voice has never been in question. From the first time we heard him, on 2013’s “Will You,” we were blown away, and since then he’s evolved and experimented, showing that his voice can work equally well accompanied by simple piano or all out synth-pop euphoria.
Today he’s back with “Wedding Daze,” the first single from a new EP titled Sinner Of The Week. Describing the songs as being “about waiting for a dream to come true, but it never does,” Wilson collaborated with producers who have worked with Sia, Disclosure, and Madonna, and the result is an especially bright sheen on his up-to-date soul sound.
Having not heard new music from Wilson for over 12 months, we’re excited that he’s back.
