Watch Chance The Rapper Fly Through Chicago in the Joyful Video for "Angels" ft. Saba

One of Chance The Rapper’s go-to lines is “I’m just having fun with it,” and that comes through clear every time he drops a new music video.

Following up the infectious choreographed dance video for “Sunday Candy,” Chance channels superheroes (most notably “Flyboy”) as he flies through the skies of Chicago and rides on top of the city’s “L” train in the joyous video for “Angels” featuring Saba.

Directed by longtime collaborator Austin Vesely, the video is about as Chicago as it gets. Saba holds it down inside the CTA car, Ian Eastwood joins up for a street corner dance session, and artist Hebru Brantley contributes animated illustrations in the style of his “Flyboy” character.

“Collaborating with Chance is always fun,” Vesely told Fake Shore Drive. “Our ideas just keep getting bigger and bigger and it’s a blast to bring them to life. Hebru is really great. I’d never met him prior but had been a fan of his work, so the opportunity to work side by side with him was an honor. I love what he brought to the video.”
