AlunaGeorge have been putting out music at quite the steady pace in the past few months. In January, the duo returned with their single “I’m In Control” featuring Popcaan. Since then they’ve teamed up with Flume on “I Remember,” and recently announced their upcoming US tour.

Today they’re back with their latest single, “My Blood” featuring Zhu. This collaboration follows their previous joint effort with Zhu titled “Automatic”—which was released back in September of last year. Unlike “Automatic,” this new track isn’t as fast paced or club ready. Instead, “My Blood” sets a more relaxed tone that allow the lyrics to take the lead.

Ahead of the track’s premiere earlier today on Beats 1 Radio, lead vocalist Aluna Francis had a short chat with radio host Zane Lowe about the new music. She told Lowe that although her and George finally have enough songs to complete an album, they aren’t quite ready for a release just yet. Hopefully more details about their sophomore album will come very soon.

In the meantime, listen to “My Blood” and the short interview with Zane Lowe below.
