SBTRKT is picking up speed. Just yesterday, the prolific producer shared the uplifting, The-Dream-featuring “Good Morning,” and he’s already back with another song.
Premiered earlier today on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show as the Hottest Track in the World, “I Feel Your Pain” features D.R.A.M. and Mabel singing over warbling, synth-laden production that he promises is a part of more upcoming new music. During his short interview with Annie Mac, he also discussed the three-year cycle of recording/touring/hibernating and how he’s trying to break out from that, aiming to share music more often through touring and creating “microprojects.”
Those who wish to see SBTRKT live, it appears that he’s trying to put together listening events called Save Yourself for “fans who have supported [his] music up to now” and gives fans the opportunity to “be the first to hear new music [he’s] made.
According to his Facebook, the first one went down last night, but he hopes to “do this more in future and in different places.” No additional information has been revealed, but you can subscribe to SaveYourself.TV to get a free download of “Good Morning.”
