Politics don’t always find their way into music, but when it does the stance of the artist is usually pretty clear. For Nipsey Hussle and YG’s latest collaboration “FDT,” they couldn’t have made their opinions any more clear than this.
The two Cali natives focus their song on Donald Trump and his Presidential campaign. Both Nipsey and YG take a strong stance on their disapproval for Trump’s policies. The track features both rappers going verse for verse over a smooth beat similar to what they each would usually rhyme over, with just an additional twist—a hook with a “Fuck Donald Trump!” chant.
