A couple years ago, Faith Evans, singer and widow of The Notorious B.I.G., announced that a collaborative album between the two, titled The King and I, was in progress, saying, “It’s something that I’ve been thinking about doing for many, many years. I finally got all my ducks in a row to try to make it happen.”
Now it looks like it’s finally going to happen, and soon. During a recent interview on Dame Dash’s radio show, she said that a single from the project would be released this summer, and the album itself is on pace to come out in September. Evans also brought up the possibility of live performances featuring a Biggie Smalls hologram.
