Big Sean turned 28 today, and he’s sharing music with his fans to celebrate. Quite the gesture, given it’s his day to receive. “Get My Shit Together” follows Sean’s 2015 recap track “What A Year,” which featured Detail and Pharrell.
Produced by Tommy Brown—behind songs by a wide range of acts, from Ariana Grande, curiously, to Machine Gun Kelly—and Mr. Frank, it’s a striking piece blending ballad pianos and trap percussion. Sean hasn’t sounded so impassioned in a long time. Listen to “Get My Shit Together” below.
