The only thing that could match how fun Big Boi and Phantogram’s Big Grams EP from last year is a set of animated visuals for two of the EP’s highlights. Directed by Awesome Inc., the wild and psychedelic video for “Born To Shine” features animated versions of Big Grams, as well as Run The Jewels’ El-P and Killer Mike getting into some trouble, like a bar fight that quickly escalates into Big Boi unleashing piranhas from his fur coat. Yes, shit gets weird.
The clip will be featured on Adult Swim’s Off The Air, which will air late night tonight at 4 a.m. EST.
Big Grams will be heading on tour this summer across the US, with more dates to be announced. Check those out below, and watch the colorful animated video for “Born To Shine” and “Run For Your Life” above.
