Siblings Luke and Tess, from Alberta, Canada, make music as Tennyson, blending sounds and textures into vibrant electronic landscapes. They’ve had music released by Ryan Hemsworth as part of his “Secret Songs” series, and their music aligns with much of his—thoughtful and richly textured, but with a sense of fun throughout.
“If this song was a book it would be called ‘How To Be Happily Confused About Everything’,” Tennyson told us via email, and with the amount of twists and turns this track goes through, happy confusion might well be the result of listening. “All Yours” bleeps and bloops and bubbles along, building eventually to a triumphant final section which quickly fades to silence.
