After releasing his debut album this past summer, London O’Connor has been making rounds in support of O∆. During his latest stop in London, the self-produced songwriter paid a visit to BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens for a session at the Maida Vale Studios (the legendary BBC complex of studios that have been around since 1946). At the session, O’Connor shared a charming, barebones rendition of The Beatles’ “In My Life,” as well as acoustic piano versions of “GUTS” and “Nobody Hangs Out Anymore.” According to the interview, O’Connor actually recorded the cover in the same studio that The Beatles played at.

Listen to London O’Connor’s cover of “In My Life” below, which begins at the 13:43 mark, and give the playlist of our favorite Beatles songs a listen in the event that you’re unfamiliar with their catalog.
