Tonight’s OVO Sound Radio may not have had a guest mix from Kanye West, as was previously announced, but it did feature a Kanye tribute mix and a new Skepta track. “Ladies Hit Squad” features grime legend D Double E and A$AP Nast, spitting over a melodic, hypnotic beat.
This isn’t the hyped up “Shutdown” Skepta that has gained so many new fans in the past 12 months, but it is awesome to hear D Double E on a track with A$AP Mob’s Nast. Hopefully there are more Transatlantic collaborations on the way.
