Big year for LCD Soundsystem. After announcing their reunion as well as an upcoming album, it’s been revealed that the collective has signed to Columbia Records according to Billboard. Label chairman Rob Stringer reportedly shared the announcement of the deal at Billboard‘s Power 100 event yesterday:

Representatives at Columbia Records and DFA Records (James Murphy’s label) have yet to comment on the news.

LCD Soundsystem will be making their festival rounds beginning with Coachella in April, and Bonnaroo, Primvaera Sound in Barcelona, Roskilde in Denmark, plus others to follow. In addition to festival appearances, more tour dates are expected to be announced with the band’s official website reading “2016 tour dates coming soon.”
