The last time we heard from et aliae, she was sharing “Closer Still Closer”—a track taken from our I Like It, What Is It? compilation album. Now the producer returns with a new single titled “Sober” featuring D∆WN (aka Dawn Richard, previously from Danity Kane and Dirty Money).
“Sober” opens up delicately like a flower in bloom. D∆WN matches the soft tone of the track’s production with her velvety smooth voice. With et aliae providing a tranquil rhythm which creates what feels like a safe place, D∆WN takes the time to share her more vulnerable side in the subject matter. As a result, their collaboration creates a beautiful track that feels simultaneously airy, sweet, and nostalgic.
