The Flume/Vince Staples/Kučka collaboration was a pleasant surprise to say the least, and it has already inspired some fantastic remixes. The latest addition to that collection comes from Vancouver native Ekali, who tweaks “Smoke & Retribution” by adding pounding percussions and slithering synths for a sinister result. Vince Staples’ verse doesn’t get lost in the mix either, down-pitched for an interesting effect that works well with Ekali’s remix.
