Jack Garratt has been impressing the masses with his singles for the past couple of years, especially with tracks like “Breathe Life.” His talent has caught the attention of many, and apparently Craig David is a fan as well. So much so, that he recorded a cover of one of Garratt’s singles taken from his debut album Phase.
In a series presented by Beats by Dre called The REDO, artists get their own tracks remade by artists who love them. For the first episode, Jack Garratt has his single “Breathe Life” redone by Craig David. David delivers an interesting twist as he manages to slow the track down while gradually building the beat up double-time. The results of this sweet rendition turn out to be something special.
