Since David Bowie’s passing at the beginning of the month, various artists have released their covers to some of Bowie’s classic to show their love and appreciation for the legend. The most popular song to covered in the last few weeks is certainly “Space Oddity.”

Earlier this month we heard Lido’s spin on the classic. Now we’re met with footage of Miguel’s brilliant rendition. During an intimate show at L.A.’s Bardot, Miguel performed an acoustic cover that was both beautiful and emotional. Perhaps in a way to prevent the night from ending on a somber note, Miguel completed his short cover of “Space Oddity” with a smooth transition into his track “Waves” from his latest album Wildheart.
