President Barack Obama Picks a Side in the Drake/Kendrick Lamar Debate

The Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar debate has reached the White House. In a recent interview with YouTube, President Obama was asked who he prefers of the two in a rap battle, and he went with Kendrick.

This may not come as a surprise, as we recently learned that the two hung out at The White House, and Obama already picked Kendrick’s “How Much A Dollar Cost” as his favorite song of 2015. The President had high praise for Drake, calling him an “outstanding entertainer,” but that wasn’t enough for him to overlook Kendrick’s lyrical ability or the impact of To Pimp A Butterfly.

Watch the interview above—the Drake/Kendrick question comes in at the 27:24 mark.
