Top Dawg Entertainment rapper Isaiah Rashad emerged from a relative silence recently for his new song “Nelly,” the video for which dropped in September. Now, TDE has confirmed that it won’t be much longer until we have a new release from Rashad.
In an Instagram post, TDE wrote, “Locked and Loaded….. Almost ready 2 pull the trigger on you niggas….#TDE @isaiahrashad.” Rashad has yet to publicly mention any sort of work on a new project, but that’s probably more because he’s relatively quiet on social media. The only recent comment Rashad has made about releasing an LP was on the day “Nelly” premiered: In response to a tweet asking “what about an album…,” Rashad responded, “One thing at a time slim.”
